Josef relates Nick’s hand-me down bike to a disappearing middle class, the “misery of poverty,” and a car free future. Also, a customer comes in with some comments that relate to exactly what Josef says about “comfort bikes.” Then, at 25:48, a throwback to Josef’s interview with volunteers and beneficiaries of the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition’s “Operation Firefly,” a bike light giveaway on North Figueroa Ave in Northeast L.A. last November.
